I realize you were more important to me than the short time we had together would suggest.<br /><br />But ONE of the reasons I HAD to move on was that sense of impermanence. You and your friends are still young - but after 4 or 5 of those moves the WAY the military community interacts DOES change. It is rapid and it is light - because you go into it knowing it isn't permanent. <br /><br />Maybe that's why Americans have this rep as being superficial over there.<br /><br />I do miss you. I miss THE GROUP. You write as a soul-mate.
